At the beginning of the nursing program I was very unsure of what to expect. After speaking to several friends about their ideas of nursing and some friend’s mothers who are nurses I entered the program with an idea of what to anticipate. After I completed my first week I was completely shocked at the outlines our professors had given me. The program turned out to be nothing of what I was expecting. Slowly developing through the program I began to highly enjoy it and quickly realized that nursing was in fact my calling. By having such a strong naturally caring personality I was able to reflect on many experiences. Although there are some stressful times I need to find my balance and make sure I create some time for myself. My outlet is dancing. I love to dance and wouldn’t give it up for the world. Nothing else matters when I dance.

Hey Heather,
Just keep strong and take time out of the day for yourself! Only 9 days left until our nice long break and then we truly can relax!!!!
Hey!
Nursing is not what a lot of people expect, but I am proud of you and how well you are doing! Keep it up! Let me know if I can help in any way!
Nicely said!
I had a hard time adjusting at the beginning of the program; balancing work, school and a social life seemed impossible! But we have all been doing so well, and we're learning how important it is to find that outlet that keeps us sane!!
